Long story short, we made Christmas cookies and I cannot stop eating them! I have no self control when it comes to sweet things. Nathan, sadly, missed out on the cookie making this year. He was flying back to Cherry Point to pick up the car and check out our new house. I got a call a few weeks back letting me know that our renovated house will be ready on Dec. 24th (today!). I wanted Nathan to check things out before agreeing to take that particular house. The pros; close to the park, all new appliances, big kitchen, garden tub. The cons; still renovating the house right next door to us, muddy backyard. Looks like we'll take it! I can't wait to get back there and see it for myself.

Oh yes, also meant to write that I too have no self control for sweets. I have been eating brownies and 'bark' until I get sick from the sugar rush. Might explain why I haven't been able to sleep for the past week. haha!

I am terrible too! I easily gained 5 pounds over the last two weeks and it's all because of cookies.
